The LACE RUFFLES bag in the Dark Sugar edition explores the concept of "Mysterious Banh Beo." While sugar is traditionally associated with simple sweetness, this deep brown palette offers a classy, sophisticated interpretation. The pleated ruffles provide a soft, feminine texture that contrasts beautifully with the bag's structural depth.
Inspired by the resurgence of Y2K aesthetics, the design pays homage to the early 2000s. It features two decorative zipper patterns on the front, a hallmark of that era’s maximalist detail. This is balanced with a contemporary semi-circle silhouette and a smooth back panel, catering to those who appreciate a blend of vintage energy and modern minimalism.
A distinctive construction detail is found in the side pockets, which simulate the intricate knots of sports shoelaces—the inspiration for the LACE name. Furthermore, the 5cm wide strap was purposefully selected to provide a bold, personality-driven look while ensuring comfort during wear.
